Amadio Wines has received further international recognition for its outstanding wines during September. The award-winning South Australian winery won 9 medals – Five Gold and Four Silver – at the prestigious awc Vienna 2017 International Wine Challenge.

Amadio Wines 100% strike rate having submitted 9 wines for evaluation this year from their South Australian wineries. Gold medals were awarded for its new release 2015 Amadio Kangaroo Island Merlot & 2015 Amadio Kangaroo Island Shiraz.

awc Vienna also awarded Silver medals to the 2015 Amadio Kangaroo Island Cabernet Sauvignon.
On October 23rd Amadio Wines is in the running for a Trophy in class and a Top 2 Finalist in category. This will be announced at the official awc Vienna Gala ball.
The fruit for these exceptional wines are sourced from our family’s 125 hectare estate vineyard, Amadio Vineyards Kersbrook in the Adelaide Hills and also Kangaroo Island.
Drawing on three generations of Italian winemaking heritage from 1936, the label continues to produce exceptional European style wines that have won accolades in Europe, Asia and Australia.
