Hazyblur Wines

The vines so drenched with sunlight, appeared to be radiating rays themselves. A magical sight to experience:- a hallowed blurry haze.

Hazyblur Wines is a small boutique winery established in 1998 by Ross and Robyne Trimboli.

Our Cassini Vineyard on the North Coast of Kangaroo Island was planted in 2001, with Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris.

Our site on Kangaroo Island was chosen for its most beautiful pristine environment and enjoys an excellent climate for vines.

With each vintage Ross takes personal control of all winemaking procedures. Each individual barrel receives his attention.

As a result of our unique growing conditions, dedication, and our attention to detail, you will find that our Hazyblur Kangaroo Island wines are indeed unique in style and depth of flavours.

Winemaker Ross Trimboli started experimenting, using his own winemaking techniques, making batches of wine with friends. After completing a winemaking course in 1996, Ross decided to get a bit more serious about it all. Returning from a wine tasting trip through the Coonawarra, driving in a car with no air-conditioning at the end a long hot day, Ross noticed a mirage like haze over the vineyards. It was a HAZYBLUR…what a fabulous name for a wine label….

Now Ross and Robyne Trimboli have firmly planted their name in Australian, and indeed Kangaroo Island Wine Making History, by taking the Hazyblur name to a level of success, only imaginable in the beginning.

Hazyblur’s range of Niche Kangaroo Island Wines are created from fruit growing in nature’s most pure vineyards, in small, nurtured batches, available on a strictly limited basis, with Wine Club members benefitting from first pick of new releases.
