Kangaroo Island Spirits lovingly referred to by locals as ‘KIS’ was established in 2006 by Jon & Sarah Lark. We were the first Australian Gin Distillery dedicated to producing premium Gin. Our handcrafted quality products take inspiration from the unique Kangaroo Island environment that surrounds us.
KI Spirits has been giving their garden lots of TLC and it is looking wonderful with an extra Marquee, relaxed seating, outside Cocktail/Gin Bar and regular tastings.
The perfect space to put together a platter from local produce, pick up a Frogs and Roses Pizza or bring your own picnic nibbles, sit back, relax and share Easter with family, dogs and friends. (LIC restrictions mean NO BYO alcohol can be consumed on site)

Kangaroo Island Spirits’ rustic charmed cellar door is located only 10 mins from Kingscote. It is where passion and science comes together. Each of our products are prepared with care and made using traditional processes. We have a unique range of Gin, Vodka and Liqueurs that has been inspired by the unique environment of Kangaroo Island. Our Old Tom Gin won Australia’s Best Gin at the Australia’s Distillers Awards 2016 and a Gold Medal at the SIP International Spirits Competition, USA 2017.
All our products are available for tasting as well as for purchase. Our wonderful garden is perfect to enjoy a few cocktails, coffees or signature Affogato (KI Drunken ice-cream served with a drizzle of KIS Honey & Walnut liqueur and shot of coffee).
