Mini de Lights is owned and operated by Emily Woskett. Originally from the Adelaide Hills, Emily visited KI for the first time in 2015 and instantly fell in love with the place.
After making the move, Emu Bay showed a lot of potential and this is where the first van was built and Mini’s was born. A pop up Kitchen and Bar was the right idea for Emu Bay. Not only because it was one of Emily’s goals but also creating a food and drink, beach destination for the locals and Summer beach goers.
The retro caravan and beer garden which has kept Emu Bay’s crowds supplied with coffee, quirky snacks, little sweet treats and also serving local wine, beer and cocktails. Emu Bay is currently open from November to April.
Another great venue for Mini’s, Kangaroo Island Spirits. The vintage styled food van is setup in the garden at KIS Cellar Door all year round. Offering all day lunch, platters and desserts. KIS also complimenting the food menu with their famous cocktails.
