After gaining special commendation for their Colony Cove Draught Cider at the Australian Cider Awards late in 2016, Kangaroo Island Ciders backed up to win Gold and Best of Show at the Red Hill (Mornington Peninsula) Show in April. They continued on this success with Best of Class and Top Silver medals for their Draught and Original Ciders at the Tasmanian Cider Show in April.
Most importantly however, the current harvest of apples from the Kangaroo Island orchards has gone particularly well with good crops of Yarlington Mill, Improved Foxwhelp and Kingston Black varieties. So much so, that they are able to lay down barrels for their Vintage Cider which will be available again next year.
So, Cheers and enjoy the Kangaroo Island Ciders, which are available at the cellar door at Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery, Ozone Cellars and a number of restaurants and cafes on the Island.
