As a not-for-profit, membership-based, marketing, and destination development organisation, we promote Kangaroo Island as an internationally and domestically outstanding holiday location.
Renowned for its nature and wildlife, food and beverages, and unique relaxed Island lifestyle, the visitor economy continues to underpin the Island’s economic and social fabric and support its environment. KITA represents its industry and works with its members and stakeholders to build a sustainable Island visitor economy that creates strong and positive outcomes across the whole Island. Driving visitation and visitor dispersal, along with product knowledge, availability, and distribution, and increasing the awareness that Kangaroo Island is a source of premium products and produce is key.
